Jorge's GR700 T56 Magnum Supra 6-Speed 1039 RWHP

Jorge's bad ass 1000+ HP 6-speed supra is running one of our GR700 T56 Magnum swap kits. Jorge is one of my first GR700 customers and has been putting this transmission through the ringer. This car is a true testament to the strength of the GR Series magnum kits. He bought this kit in May of 2016 along with one of my hybrid FX850 clutches. This auto-manual swap install was done by Ward Auto Racing, one of our certified GR-series installers.

This car gets shifted at 8000 RPM, so to the guys who say these can't shift at high RPM say no more! Also, I shift my GR1000 at 10,500RPM that should put any rumor of these things not being able to handle high RPM to rest.

Jorge is making more than 700 torque at the wheels, so that proves the strength of the intro-level GR700 6-speed kit. The top-dog GR1000 can handle 1000+ torque at the wheels.

Jorge doesn't take it easy on the car either, using a pro drag radial which can quickly find the weak link in your driveline. These drag radials are stiff sidewall and really do not cushion the power when it comes on hard or when the car hooks after spinning.

The GR700 is based on a tremec T56 magnum, and full kit includes a bellhousing, billet shifter, and driveshaft. These kits work well to swap your Automatic supra to a 6-speed manual transmission. The Tremec T56 Magnum has the highest torque rating of any automobile 6-speed transmission ever built.
